A great way to deliver high-value content to the correct prospects is through content syndication – a content sharing strategy that can be used to promote your whitepapers, articles, news releases, etc. on other websites for greater reach and engagement. And because most content syndicators deliver leads directly to your inbox, it’s a great way to keep leads coming in the door.
The content marketing technique, though well known, is not used by many companies because it is not as easy as it seems. Creating content that solves the problems of potential customers, is targeted for a specific audience and is interesting and visually appealing is difficult and outsourcing the content or creating an automated system doesn’t seem to do the job. To create leads with social media, you should have a good idea of which channels to use. Depending on your business, you may not need a presence for every network out there. For example, if you sell software, Facebook and Twitter are a must for customer feedback, starting conversations, and answering questions – but you may not have any use for Pinterest or Instagram.
Using a dedicated survey tool indicates that you are making efforts to satisfy the customers. These tools are helpful in ways such as aggregating and analyzing the result of the survey and coming up with suggestions for the questions that might not cross your mind. Your survey should be based on a particular product or service and the questions must be developed around it. Make sure to ask the important ones first so that you know the answers even if the customer decided to skip the rest of the survey.

Attention scarcity is driving a shift from “rented attention” to “owned attention”. Historically, most marketing has been about renting attention other people have built. Lead generation is a win-win for both the buyer and seller. Buyers can request information from several businesses that offer the product or service that they are looking for, then the seller is given the opportunity to make its pitch to people who have given their permission. Sharing your contact information like your email address or the company’s website address or phone number in these press releases should be done to shift your customer’s attention online. Once you get the desired response because of the press releases, you can brag about it. Mention the success of your campaigns on your website or newsletters to gather even more responses.
Automatically move inbound leads over to your CRM using marketing automation workflows and assign them to appropriate sales reps when they reach lead scoring thresholds and/or trigger specific behaviors, such as requesting a free trial or demonstration. Use segmentation rules to assign leads to an appropriate sales rep, for example by territory or industry. This process should be carefully planned in Step #1.

Whether through video on Facebook Live or Instagram, or even a live-tweeting session on Twitter, show off your authority in your space. Choose an expert to represent your company, whether it’s you as the owner, one of your employees, or a guest. Then, host a live session to teach a certain tip or skill, or answer a question that you know there’s a need for.
But building relations on Twitter and other sites can also be challenging at times.
